Safety Administrator

Unified Valve Group Ltd. is seeking a Safety Administrator who has exceptional experience balancing safety and other administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be a go getter who is not afraid of rolling up their sleeves and getting the job done, they will be able manage their time effectively and balance their priorities.  

They will be able to follow up with employees and managers and ensure that records are complete, accurate and timely. They will also have an exceptional ability to multi task and a flexible attitude to accommodate for the variable duties of the position.

Responsibiliites 

  • Adherence with Quality and Safety Program including meetings, inspections, reporting, training, record keeping requirements
  • Ensure that all employees are adequately trained and have adequate resources to perform their duties as well as adhere to the Quality and Safety Program
  • Maintain and update training matrix for all branches and identifying upcoming required training to managers and Quality and Safety Manager
  • Receive, log and file monthly safety meetings and inspections and identifying delinquent individuals/branches and report to Quality and Safety Manager
  • Assist with document control, including maintaining and updated controlled forms, distributing documentation as required and or requested
  • Assist with maintaining and updating safety registries
  • Accurate, complete and timely order invoicing
  • Maintain communication with Senior Management Team and all relevant stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years of experience with in an administrative capacity with experience balancing a variety of tasks and priorities
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Must have experience in data entry and paper work completion and filing
  • Exceptional communicator and customer service oriented
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Very strong computer skills and strong ability to quickly and effectively learn and adapt to new software and technology
  • Strong Excel and Word skills, must be at an intermediate level or higher with both applications
  • Experience with MS Great Plains Dynamics an asset
