2 & 3-Way Design Control Valves

Steam Converting Valves
- Available in sizes 1 ½” to 10”

- A216 WCB & A217 WC6 body materials
- Low-noise perforated trim reduces steam pressure while cooling water simultaneously is injected into the steam flow to cool it
- Steam pressure reduction & cooling water injection in one valve
Re-circulating Valves
- Available in sizes 1” to 3”
- Pressure Class 300
- Protects boiler feedwater pump by recirculating water back to the pump to maintain minimum pump rate
- For boilers rated between 5-50 t/h with adjustable recirculation rates
Bottom Blowdown Valves
- Available in sizes from ¾” to 2 ½ ”
- Pressure Class 300
- Used to remove sludge, sediment, and other impurities that accumulate during normal operation
- Periodically opens to “blow down” the solid particulates
Continuous Blowdown Valves
- Available in sizes from ½ ” to 1 ½ ”
- Pressure Class 300
- Blows down continuously from the upper part of the boiler drum to remove dissolved solids from boiler water
- Prevents scale formation, maintains water quality, and improves boiler efficiency
Multi-nozzle Desuperheater
- Injects cooling water directly into superheated steam lines to reduce temperature
- Steam cooling achieved by injecting finely atomized cooling water into the steam flow
- Tight shutoff without any leakage
